Standard Materials |
Polyethylene Plastic is one of the most widely used plastic materials and offers excellent chemical resistance, ease of manufacturing, strength, toughness and durability. Polyethylene is suited for typical manufacturing environments as the material remains stable at temperatures encountered in cold winters (below 0°F) and hot summers (just over 120°F). At temperatures exceeding 120°F the material becomes rubbery, reducing its strength properties. LEWISBins+ Divider Box Containers are manufactured from Polythylene. |
Polypropylene Plastic is in the same family of plastics as polyethylene and offers excellent chemical resistance and ease of manufacturing that remain similar to that of polyethylene. Polypropylene's advantages over polyethylene include its greater stiffness and elevated temperature use. Depending on the application, Polypropylene material can retain their strength at temperatures up to 150½F. LEWISBins Parts Bins & Shelf Boxes are manufactured from Polypropylene plastic. |
ESD-Safe (Conductive) Material protects your products form the damaging effects of static electricity.The thermoplastic polypropylene material has a useful temperature range of 40°F to 225°F, with intermittent use recommended at the higher end of the temperature range. The electrical properties of this material are permanent unaffected by washing.
