Platinum Series Modular Drawer Cabinets
Simply put, it's a storage system. Even simpler, it's a chest of drawers. Well, not the kind passed down from Grandma. It's a heavy duty unit designed for industrial use. The drawers can be divided and sub-divided to store large tools to tiny components. The fifteen different drawer heights make these cabinets versatile enough to accommodate endless varieties of products. One cabinet can store products as small as marbles or and large as bowling balls.

Almost anything you want to.

Some companies use them for easy access to components because product remains clean and secure inside the cabinet until needed for assembly.

Modular Drawer Cabinets also make excellent tool boxes. Tools can be easily organized with drawers for larger tools such as power tools, smaller divided drawers for wrenches and sockets, while leaving room for organizing hardware. A hardwood top and casters can be added to make it a rolling work station.

All of the 240 Series Modular Cabinets come with a Safetylink Locking System, unless otherwise specified.
  • Key lock secures the entire cabinet (two keys included).
  • Safetylink automatically locks unopened drawers in place when one drawer is pulled out – preventing accidental tipping and potential for injury.
  • An anchor kit is also provided to anchor your cabinet to the floor and prevent tipping when a heavy drawer is pulled out.
Standard Key Lock

What if we need to open more than one drawer at a time?
Single drawer access with Safetylink system.
Single Drawer Access
In the 241 Series Cabinet the Safetylink feature is eliminated. The entire cabinet still locks when key is turned. An anchor kit is and two keys are included. These cabinets are the same price as the cabinets with Safetylink. It is important that cabinets without the Safetylink feature be anchored to the floor. These are heavy cabinets and we don't want to see our customers flattened

Cabinets are also available without a lock or Safetylink, but the manufacturer, LYON, strongly recommends cabinets without locks and safety links be anchored. (Anchors are supplied with each cabinet).
Multiple drawer access.
Multiple Drawer Access
Are any other locking options available?
There are several Optional Locking Systems

  • Master Keyed – for one-key access to cabinets with different locks.
  • Keyed Alike – for one-key access to cabinets with identical locks.
  • Individual Drawer Lock – Lock each drawer individually with a separate key for each drawer, while a security paney protects contents of drawer below when upper drawer is open. (Individual key locks will reduce usable space by ½ inch).
  • Hinged Lock Bar on Cabinet – Secures all drawers with a padlock bar (padlock is not included). This locking option is ideal for mobile applications or when used in a high-risk location.
Yep! By using the locking options sighted above, your cabinets can be safely transported to and from job sites. Making these cabinets a good choice for service people.
400 lbs. per drawer!
Easily moved with a forklift.
All 240 and 241 Series Modular Drawer Cabinets come with removable base closure panels, when these are removed the base opening allows for forklift access. These cabinets are structurally strong enough to be moved fully loaded with a forklift or a pallet truck (if Hercules happens to work at your facility).

If your brave, well, I exaggerate, it's pretty easy to configure your own cabinet. It just takes a little planning, and we'd be happy to help you with that. We already mentioned that it's easy to choose your colors, now you just have to decide between four different widths, six different heights, and fifteen different drawer heights to fill your cabinet body. Then just add some dividers, and bins, and all sorts of nifty drawer accessories and you have a cabinet that will suit your needs to a "T".

Drawer heights range from three inches high to fourteen inches high.
